A new dating reality show titled Heartbeat has been introduced to television viewers.

Gatekeepers News reports that the show which promises romance, emotions, and real-life relationship experiences, is scheduled to premiere on January 11, 2026, on Africa Magic Showcase, and will run for 12 weeks.

Heartbeat features 10 single men and women who will live together in a shared house while searching for genuine love. Throughout the show, their daily interactions, dates, challenges, and personal conversations will be filmed, giving viewers a close look at how relationships grow or fall apart under pressure.

The show is hosted by Seyitan Atigarin, a broadcast journalist and media personality. She will guide the contestants through different stages of the experience, helping them navigate emotional moments and difficult decisions.

The female contestants include Chidera Eggerue, a writer and podcaster who believes in confidence and self-worth, and Lateefa Shittu, an entrepreneur who says she is intentional about love and refuses to settle.

Also on the show is Hilda Braso Agyekum, a Ghanaian actress and producer who values honesty, and Shekinah Esosa, a musical artist who describes herself as expressive and emotionally aware. Toriah Kim, a hairstylist and freelance model, completes the list of women, saying she joined the show to find a sincere and loyal partner.

On the men’s side are Alvin Leonard, a computer science graduate and cabin crew member who hopes for a deeper emotional connection after past disappointments. Igwe Cruise, an oil and gas professional, says he knows what he wants and is ready for serious love.

Henri Promise Chibueze describes himself as confident and loyal, while Ken Nwaomucha, a realtor and fashion entrepreneur, says he is a romantic at heart. The final male contestant is Ikenna Damian Maduba, an Abuja-based entrepreneur who values loyalty, respect, and good character.

During the 12 weeks, the singles will take part in games and bonding activities designed to test compatibility and emotional readiness. As the show progresses, contestants will be expected to decide whether their connections are strong enough to continue beyond the house.

According to the Producers, Heartbeat is focused on real emotions and honest relationships rather than drama alone.
