Chelsea Appoint Liam Rosenior As New Head Coach

Premier League club Chelsea have announced the appointment of Liam Rosenior as their new head coach, replacing Enzo Maresca, the club confirmed on Tuesday.

Gatekeepers Newreports that Rosenior, who joins from French side Strasbourg, has signed a long-term contract running until 2032. The 41-year-old Englishman expressed pride and gratitude following his appointment.

“I am extremely humbled and honoured to be appointed,” Rosenior said in a statement released by the club. “This is a club with a unique spirit and a proud history of winning trophies. My job is to protect that identity and create a team that reflects these values in every game we play as we continue winning trophies.”

Earlier on Tuesday, Rosenior described the Chelsea role as an opportunity he could not decline.

“This is an opportunity I cannot turn down,” he said while speaking in Strasbourg.

Rosenior takes charge of Chelsea with the club currently fifth in the Premier League standings, as he prepares to lead the Blues into the next phase of their campaign.
