Manchester City ended their recent Premier League slump with a comfortable home victory after beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Gatekeepers News reports that Pep Guardiola’s side, who had struggled for form in recent weeks, produced a controlled first-half performance to secure all three points.
Omar Marmoush opened the scoring early in the game, taking advantage of his start by finishing from close range after a delivery from Mattheus Nunes.
City doubled their lead just before the break when Antoine Semenyo converted a pass from Bernardo Silva to cap a dominant opening half.
Although Wolves showed more urgency after the restart, City remained composed and limited their visitors to a few clear chances. Semenyo went close to adding a third goal when his effort struck the woodwork, but the hosts comfortably saw out the match.

The comeback was completed late in the game when Harry Wilson curled in a stoppage-time free kick to seal the win and send the home fans into celebration.
