Nigeria’s national power grid suffered another collapse on Tuesday morning, triggering widespread electricity outages across the country.
Gatekeepers News reports that information obtained from Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO) showed that electricity supply to the 11 distribution companies dropped to zero megawatts by about 11:00 am on Tuesday.
The latest incident marks the second grid collapse recorded within five days, raising fresh concerns about the stability of the country’s power infrastructure.
