National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially made public the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External.
Gatekeepers News reports that speaking on Tuesday in Minna, Niger State, the Registrar of the examination body, Ibrahim Wushishi, disclosed that candidates were assessed in 16 subjects during the exercise.
He revealed that 96,979 candidates enrolled for the examination nationwide, made up of 51,823 male candidates, representing 53.43 per cent, and 45,156 female candidates, accounting for 46.56 per cent.
According to the registrar, the council recorded a pass rate of more than 72 per cent in both English Language and Mathematics.
