The Governing Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has elected Sofuratu Seghosime as its 62nd President-Elect.
Gatekeepers News reports that Seghosime, a former coordinating director at Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), now known as Nigerian Revenue Service (NRS), brings years of public sector experience to the role.
Her emergence has been widely described as a reflection of her professionalism, integrity, and strong leadership credentials. Her track record demonstrates a commitment to ethical standards, transparency, and accountability, as well as the ability to balance innovation with established institutional values.
