Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has revealed that several terrorists were killed during coordinated air strikes carried out in parts of the north-east region.

Gatekeepers News reports that according to reports, the operations targeted terrorist hideouts in Bukar Meram located in the Southern Tumbuns area and Chikide in the Mandara Mountains.

The military said the strikes were launched after intelligence reports revealed plans by insurgents to carry out attacks within the region. Fighter jets reportedly destroyed key terrorist enclaves, logistics bases, and movement routes during the operation.

Military authorities added that the offensive disrupted planned attacks and dealt a significant blow to the activities of terrorists operating around the Lake Chad basin and surrounding communities.
