Nigerian troops have neutralised a suspected terrorist commander, Kachalla Ibrahim Battijo, during a coordinated security operation in Kogi State.
Gatekeepers News reports that the operation also disrupted critical elements of Battijo’s network, delivering what security sources described as a significant setback to the group’s activities in the region.
According to the sources, the successful mission is part of ongoing efforts by security forces to combat terrorism, banditry and other violent crimes across the country.
The sources added that the operation underscores the military’s commitment to strengthening security, protecting communities and dismantling criminal networks threatening peace and stability in affected areas.
