Lagos State Governor, Southwest Nigeria, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has been unanimously elected as chairman of the Southwest Governors’ forum.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Southwest Governors elected Sanwo-Olu at their meeting in Lagos house, Ikeja.
The governors present are; Oyo state governor; Seyi Makinde, Ekiti state; Biodun Oyebanji, Ondo state; Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Osun state; Ademola Adeleke and Ogun state; Dapo Abiodun.
All the six Southwest Governors also directed their respective Commissioners for Agriculture to set up a working template to facilitate collaboration based on each State’s comparative advantage.
The Forum also commends President Tinubu’s Agric policy.
