Senator Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, representing Edo North, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Sulaiman Aledeh on the passing of his beloved father, Pa Amedu Aledeh, who died recently at the age of 80.

Gatekeepers News reports that in a condolence message conveyed through his senior aide, Victor Oshioke, Oshiomhole expressed deep sadness upon hearing the news of Pa Aledeh’s demise.

Oshiomhole, the former Governor of Edo State and one-time national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, highlighted the profound pain that accompanies the loss of a close family member, especially a father who has significantly contributed to his children’s success.

He acknowledged the unique trauma of losing a father who had nurtured his children to achieve national prominence, such as Sulaiman Aledeh, a celebrated news anchor at Arise News.

The late Pa Amedu Aledeh was remembered as a respected community leader who had a positive impact on many lives within his community.

Notably, he was a pioneer staff member at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, where he played a crucial role in the institution’s growth.

After his retirement, Pa Aledeh dedicated his life to community development, continuing to serve and uplift those around him.

Sulaiman Aledeh Loses Dad

A devout Muslim, Pa Aledeh practiced his faith with tolerance and demonstrated profound love towards his fellow men.

His legacy of humanitarian service was passed on to his children, with Sulaiman embodying these values and elevating them to greater heights.

In his message, Oshiomhole encouraged Sulaiman and his siblings to find solace in the cherished memories they shared with their father during his lifetime.

He offered prayers, asking that Allah forgive Pa Aledeh’s shortcomings and grant his soul eternal rest in paradise.
