Governor of Edo State Senator Monday Okpebholo has made fifteen fresh appointments.
Gatekeepers News reports that this was announced through statements released by Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
Okpebholo approved the nomination of new members to Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission (EDSOPADEC).
The Governor noted that their appointment is with immediate effect.
The newly appointed members include Francis Osaretin Osabuohien as Chairman of the commission. Other members include Felix Osazee, Linda Aliyu Omonzele, Princess (Mrs.) Ikuoyemwen Ewuare-Aimiuwu, Edosomwan Kelvin Iredia, Stanley Odidi, and Tony Osazuwa.
The Governor also approved the nomination of new members to Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC).
Jonathan Aifuobhokhan was appointed as Chairman of the state electoral commission. Other members include Asein Ojo Victor, Ighomo Egharevba Thomas, Imafidon Hope Osarodion, Dr. Suleman Ovuehor Ikhuoria, Hon. Anthony Aikpoghome, Umoru Habib Frank, Aremiyau Aligamhe Momoh.
