Tinubu Arrives Ghana For Mahama’s Inauguration
President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Accra, Ghana, to participate in the inauguration of President-elect John Mahama, scheduled for January 7, 2025.

Gatekeepers News reports that upon his arrival at Kotoka International Airport, he was welcomed by Julius Debra, the chief of staff to the President of Ghana.

John Mahama, who previously served as Ghana’s 12th president from 2011 to 2017, was re-elected in December 2024.

He is set to succeed President Nana Akufo-Addo, who served from 2017 until 2025.

As the Chairman of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, Tinubu will join other African leaders at the inauguration ceremony.
