Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) will commence on January 31, 2025.
Gatekeepers News reports that registration for UTME will close on March 5, 2025, across all JAMB-accredited computer-based testing (CBT) centres nationwide. Expression of interest for the 2025 mock UTME will close on February 23, 2025, while the actual registration will end on March 8, 2025. The mock UTME examination is scheduled to hold on April 5, 2025.
The main UTME examination will start on April 25, 2025, and end on May 5, 2025. For Direct Entry, sales of application documents will start on March 10, 2025, and close on April 7, 2025.
The registration costs include: Mock Only Trial Testing (for underage candidates) at N3,500, Direct Entry Application at N5,700, UTME Only (without mock-UTME) at N7,200, and UTME with Mock-UTME at N8,700.
The breakdown of the application costs includes: UTME/DE JAMB fee at N3,500, reading text at N1,000, CBT centre registration service charge at N700, CBT centre UTME service charge at N1,500, CBT mock service charge at N1,500, bank charges at N500, and CBT mock-UTME centre charge at N1,500.
