Fire incident occurred on Tuesday at an MRS filling station located along Numan Road, directly opposite the Jezco filling station near Yola International Airport.
Gatekeepers News reports that the blaze engulfed two petrol-laden tankers, prompting a blockage of the road leading into Yola, the state capital, as numerous residents gathered to observe the situation, potentially placing themselves in danger.
As of the latest reports, both fuel tankers have been completely consumed by the flames.
Fire service personnel responded to the emergency and are worked to control the situation.
Security forces were also at the scene to secure the vicinity.
