Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced that Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, will face questions over allegations of Naira abuse.
Gatekeepers News reports that a viral video, posted by Harrison A (@#harreceipts), shows Tompolo dancing while a man sprays ₦1,000 notes during his 54th birthday celebration in April.
Nigerians have called on the EFCC to arrest Tompolo, citing selective enforcement.
The EFCC responded on its official X handle, stating, “Nobody is above the law. Tompolo will have questions to answer!”
Recently, the anti-graft agency summoned Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo and comedian Ayo Makun for similar offences.
