Identities of the seven inmates who escaped from the Ilesa Correctional Facility in Osun State have been revealed.
Gatekeepers News reports that rainstorm caused significant damage to the correctional facility which led to the escape of the inmates.
The inmates who escaped were identified as John Michael (34), Tobi Akin (19), Eze Nweze (40), Olalekan Ajofoyinbo (45), Ninalowo Yusuf (28), Matthew Ogunjimi (20), and Kabiru Oyedun (39).
A N5 million bounty has been placed on each of the escapees as the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) launched a manhunt and is working closely with sister security agencies and community leaders to recapture the fugitives.
The public is urged to assist by providing any information that could aid in their recapture.
