JUST IN: PDP BoT In Emergency Closed-Door Meeting Over Wike Crisis

Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is currently holding a crucial closed-door meeting at the Bauchi Governor’s Lodge in Abuja to address intensifying internal disputes and operational disruptions within the party.

Gatekeepers News reports that emergency meeting, which commenced 5:30 p.m., is centred on the escalating rift involving Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

Wike had in a statement on Sunday, announced his withdrawal from all previous agreements made with stakeholders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), accusing them of betraying his trust.

The minister particularly accused Governors Seyi Makinde of Oyo and Bala Mohammed of Bauchi of reneging on agreements reached at a stakeholders’ meeting hosted by former Senate President Bukola Saraki.
