President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given a 14-day deadline to defaulting property owners in Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to pay their ground rent debts.
Gatekeepers News reports that Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) on Monday, began enforcement on the 4,794 properties revoked for nonpayment of ground rent for a period of 10 to 43 years.
Among the sealed properties were the headquarters of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Access Bank at Wuse Market, a Total petrol station nearby, and a Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) office in Zone 5.
