Opening of the General Debate of the 76th session of the General Assembly kicked off on Tuesday at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
Gatekeepers News reports that about 80 heads of state were present including President Muhammadu Buhari and his delegation; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the UN, Prof. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande; and Head of Chancery of the Permanent Mission, Muyiwa Onifade.
Buhari is expected to address the world leaders on Friday.
