Eko Electricity Distribution Company has announced a 25-day power outage in parts of Lagos State, scheduled to take place from July 28 to August 21, 2025.
Gatekeepers News reports that the outage, according to a notice posted on the company’s social media accounts, will occur daily between 8 am and 5 pm.
The power disruption is necessary to enable the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) to carry out scheduled maintenance on the Omotosho-Ikeja West 330 kV transmission line. During this period, customers may experience intermittent power supply and load shedding across EKEDC’s network.
