Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has disclosed that its Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) has killed more than 15 terrorists during a precision strike on an identified hideout in Zuwa, Sambisa Forest.
Gatekeepers News reports that Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information, disclosed the development on Thursday.
He noted that the offensive was carried out on September 3, 2025, after credible intelligence and surveillance confirmed the presence of insurgents in the area.
The air raid destroyed structures used by fighters and commanders linked to recent attacks around Bitta. The successful operation also reinforced NAF’s role in providing crucial air support to ground forces and degrading terrorist networks in the region.
According to the military, the air campaign highlights NAF’s continued determination to protect lives, property, and national security through sustained vigilance and decisive air power.
