Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on policy communication, has said that the federal government will soon identify those behind terrorism in Nigeria.
Gatekeepers News reports that Bwala made the remark on Sunday during an interview on Television Continental (TVC), where he explained that the government is already taking major steps and that the results will become clear shortly.
Bwala said terrorism affects the whole world and called for stronger global support for Nigeria. He said, “Since the wake of 9/11, terrorism became a global issue.”
The presidential aide added that the demand is now on the world governments to see how they can cooperate with Nigeria.
According to him, terrorist groups have moved from the Middle East towards the Sahel, trying to build a base in the region. He said this makes international cooperation even more important.
Bwala noted that the government is already working on serious measures and said, “At home, the government is making far-reaching decisions, and in the coming days we will know who the terrorists and their financiers are.”
