Senator Adams Aliyu Eric Oshiomhole has extended warm Christmas greetings to the good people of Edo North, urging them to draw strength, hope, and renewed faith from the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
In his Christmas message, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress described the season as a solemn reminder of love, sacrifice, and redemption, noting that the birth of Christ brought hope and salvation to mankind. He expressed the hope that, in the same spirit, the season would bring relief to the numerous challenges confronting individuals, families, and communities across Edo North.
Senator Oshiomhole called on the people to use the period of celebration to reflect on shared values of compassion, tolerance, and unity, stressing that these virtues remain critical to fostering peace, harmony, and sustainable development in the society. He emphasized that despite prevailing economic and social pressures, the resilience and collective spirit of the people would continue to see the community through difficult times.
According to him, Christmas should also serve as an opportunity to strengthen communal bonds and extend support to the less privileged, ensuring that no one is left behind in the joy of the season.
The Senator prayed that the celebration would usher joy, peace, and harmony into the lives of the people and that the months ahead would bring greater reasons for celebration in good health, prosperity, and progress.
He concluded by wishing the people of Edo North a Merry Christmas and a fulfilling New Year, assuring them of his continued commitment to their wellbeing.
