Security Forces Arrest Suspected Bandit Linked To Viral Kidnapping Livestream

Security operatives have arrested a suspected bandit identified online as Sule Yellow, who recently drew attention on social media after allegedly displaying kidnapping activities and ransom money during a livestream.

Gatekeepers Newreports that Sule Yellow gained notoriety after appearing in a TikTok livestream that went viral on March 4. In the video, he was seen alongside another suspected bandit known as Auta and other members of their gang, allegedly discussing their activities and boasting about kidnapping operations.

In another video currently circulating on the social media platform X, the suspect is seen in handcuffs and surrounded by soldiers while being questioned about weapons believed to belong to the group.

The footage also shows security operatives displaying a polythene bag believed to contain ransom money allegedly recovered from a recent kidnapping linked to the gang.

Authorities are yet to release an official statement providing full details of the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.

The development comes amid ongoing military operations targeting bandit groups accused of attacking communities and carrying out kidnappings for ransom.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force on Monday announced the arrest of four individuals in Ondo State suspected of supplying logistics to kidnappers.

According to the police spokesperson in the state, the suspects have made “useful confessional statements that are currently aiding ongoing investigations.”
