Edo State Government has announced the redeployment of the Commissioner for Works, Hon. (Dr.) Felix Ehiguese Akhabue, as part of a fresh administrative adjustment in the state.
Gatekeepers News reports that in a statement dated April 6, signed by Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, the government said Governor Monday Okpebholo approved Akhabue’s transfer from the Ministry of Works to the Ministry of Water Resources with immediate effect.
Following the redeployment, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Works has been directed to oversee the affairs of the ministry pending the appointment of a new commissioner.
The directive, according to the government, takes immediate effect.
