Abducted Ogbomoso Principal – Teacher Appeal To Makinde – CAN For Rescue

The abducted principal and a teacher from schools attacked by gunmen in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, have appealed to Governor Seyi Makinde, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), and Nigerians for urgent intervention in securing their release.

Gatekeepers News reports that in a viral video circulating online, the principal of Community High School, Esiele, identified as Alamu F.O., said the victims had been held since Friday after armed men stormed several schools in Oriire LGA, She pleaded for help to ensure their safe return without loss of lives.  

The attack reportedly affected Baptist Nursery and Primary School, Yawota; Community Grammar School, Esiele; and L.A. Primary School in Ogbomoso.

Another victim, identified as Temitope, a church worker who appeared in a separate video carrying a baby, also appealed for assistance from the government and religious bodies.  

Earlier reports said the gunmen invaded the schools during morning activities, abducting an unspecified number of students and staff members while a teacher was shot during the assault. Security operatives have since launched rescue efforts and intensified a manhunt for the attackers.
