Junior Account Officer
Specifications:

- Required Qualifications: BA/BSC/HND
- Location: Lagos| Nigeria
Description:
Junior Account Officer is responsible for supporting the finance and accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with daily accounting operations.
Responsibility
- Generate and issue invoices on the same day they are requested to ensure timely billing.
- Prepare and disseminate weekly accounts receivable reports every Monday.
- Prepare and submit the monthly Withholding Tax receivable report.
- Prepare and report on outsourced staff payables monthly
- Ensure daily application of all client payments and prepare a weekly client receivable report.
- Post vouchers within 24 hours of payment conclusion.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Candidate must have HND/B.Sc. in Accounting or related fields
- 3-5 years\’ experience in Account officer and similar roles
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and payable processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary Range: ₦200,000 – ₦300,000/month
