Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun, husband of former Minister of Finance Kemi Adeosun, will be buried in Lagos on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Gatekeepers News reports that Adeosun, popularly known as Niyi, died in Lagos on August 5 at the age of 62, according to a statement issued by his family.
The family announced that a Night of Tributes will be held on Wednesday, August 12, at 5 p.m. at Harbour Point Event Centre, Wilmot Point Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Trinity Towers, Chief Yesufu Abiodun Oniru Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The family described the deceased as their “dearly beloved son, brother, husband and father.” He is survived by his wife, children and siblings.
Adeosun’s death was announced on August 6, with the family asking for privacy as they mourned his passing and promising to communicate details of the funeral arrangements.
