Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has revealed that he has more than 400 unreleased songs in his catalogue.

Gatekeepers Newreports that the award-winning singer made the disclosure during a recent episode of the Uncut Podcast, where he spoke about the large number of songs he has recorded throughout his career that have never been released to the public.

Davido said some of the unreleased tracks were recorded years ago and could have featured on projects that have already been released.

“Songs that you people haven’t heard? It is up to 400. In my whole career, I have so many songs that never came out,” he said.

The singer also revealed that some tracks on his recently released album, Oriade, were originally recorded for his fourth studio album, Timeless.

“I have so many songs. Like even a song on this album, I recorded it for ‘Timeless’. I recorded ‘Constantly’ for ‘Timeless’,” he said.

Davido rose to prominence in 2012 following the release of “Dami Duro”, the second single from his debut album, Omo Baba Olowo.

Since then, he has established himself as one of Africa’s leading music stars and one of the artistes widely regarded as part of Afrobeats’ “Big Three”.

The singer has released five studio albums, including A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), Timeless (2023) and 5ive (2025), following his debut project.

He also founded Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) record label in 2016
