Nigerian dancer and hypeman Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, will return to the Snaresbrook Crown Court in London on February 8, 2027, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Gatekeepers News reports that new date was fixed after his scheduled appearance on Tuesday, September 15, could not proceed because the charge sheet was unavailable. Poco Lee therefore did not enter a plea at the hearing.
The court also scheduled March 8, 2027, for the commencement of his trial.
Poco Lee had been due to appear in court on September 15 for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH), which was expected to address his plea and arrangements for the next stage of the case.
The dancer faces charges of attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration in connection with alleged offences said to have occurred in Tower Hamlets, east London, on July 23, 2026.
The case was transferred to Snaresbrook Crown Court after Poco Lee first appeared before Thames Magistrates’ Court on August 18.
The court had earlier confirmed that Poco Lee was granted bail on September 11, ahead of the September 15 hearing.
His reported release from custody had generated speculation that the complainant had withdrawn the case or that the matter had been settled out of court. However, the Crown Prosecution Service had confirmed before Tuesday’s hearing that the case remained active.
Poco Lee has denied the allegations and maintained his innocence. He has not been convicted of any offence, and the charges remain allegations to be determined by the court.
A reporting restriction remains in place to protect the identity of the complainant.
