Former President of World Athletics formally known as International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), Lamone Diack is dead.
Gatekeepers News reports that the former head of world athletics’ governing body, World Athletics formally known as International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), Lamone Diack is dead.
He was 88 years old at the time of his death.
Diack led the IAAF, from 1999 to 2015.
The achievement made him one of the most powerful people in athletics.
Diack’s son, Papa Massata Diack, told Reuters that “He died at home around 2 a.m. of a natural death.”
