Queen Elizabeth II of England has tested positive for COVID-19.

Gatekeepers News reports had earlier reported that Prince Charles, the queen’s eldest son and heir, tested positive on February 10, two days after meeting his mother at Windsor.

On Sunday, Buckingham Palace confirmed in a statement that the Queen has also tested positive.

The 95-year-old Queen is experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms”, according to the palace, and will continue “light duties” at Windsor over the coming week.

The palace had said the Queen would be ‘closely monitored’ by doctors.

“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” the palace said.

Gatekeepers News reports that Prince of Wales, who tested positive last week, has received jabbed thrice.

The 73-year-old Prince contracted the virus for the second time after testing positive for the disease in March 2020.

His wife, Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla has also tested positive for COVID-19.
