Buhari Approves Immediate Suspension Of Adamawa REC
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries including the Solicitor General of the Federation/Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Justice in the Federal Civil Service.

Gatekeepers News reports that the new appointments followed the recently conducted selection process which is being challenged at the National Industrial Court of Nigeria by some aggrieved directors.

Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, announced the appointment on Friday in a statement signed by the Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations in her office, Mohammed Ahmed Abdullah.

Jedy-Agba Beatrice Ejodamen is appointed as the  Solicitor General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Justice.

Other appointees are; Ogbe Mary Ada, Benue; Shehu Ibrahim Jigawa; and Daju Kachallom Shangti Plateau.

According to the statement, a date for the swearing-in and deployment of the new appointees would be announced in due course.

Meanwhile, the National Industrial Court of Nigeria sitting in Abuja has fixed May 30, 2022, for hearing of court contempt charges against Yemi-Esan, over the selection process of new Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.
