The building only used by Boko Haram Commanders as an exclusive resort inside sambisa forest has been set ablaze by troops.
Gatekeepers News reports that the building is well decorated, surrounded by trenches and secured by no fewer than 100 militants, according to a video and tweets shared by Zagazola Makama, a security analyst and counter-insurgency expert in the lake-chad region.
“The house also has an Inverter for constant electricity and about 1,500 different varieties of books written by different Islamic scholars.
“Some of the books were used for the indoctrination of people. The house also has a Senior Commanders Conference room for decision making.
“Some of the lists of fighters that were providing security at the Commanders resident was found at the resident of the Boko Haram/ISWAP Chief.
“The Notorious Commander is also in charge of approving weapons for fighters deployed to Mangusum, Talala, Basha, Abalam, Bula Maza, Sirdi, Borosa, Sirdi and Ngoldiri for attacks and missions.
“Those who took part in any Offensive against the NA troops are provided with Operational allowances ranging from N5000 to N10,000.
“While Ganima (Recoveries), would straight to the top Leaders for their decisions in the sharing formula,” Zagazola Makama tweeted on Sunday with a video and pictures as evidence.
