Many people have reportedly been trapped in a rumble of the three-storey building that collapsed on Sunday night in Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.
Gatekeepers News reports that the affected building is located at 32, Ibadan street, Ebutte Meta area of the State.
The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the report in an emergency alert to the public, saying officials are already at the scene of the incident for search and rescue mission.
It said: “An alert of a collapsed of a three storey building by 32 Ibadan Street, Ebute Meta was received at 21:48 hours, Sunday with Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service already at the scene.
“Search and rescue ongoing with updates to follow, please.”
