Labour Party has picked Doyin Okupe as its Vice-Presidential candidate in the 2023 general election.
Gatekeepers News reports that this was disclosed by Okupe when he appeared on Channels Television’s Politics Today June 17, 2022.
If his candidacy subsists beyond the date of substitution, he will run alongside Peter Obi in the 2023 presidential elections.
However, it would appear that Dr Okupe might be a placeholder to enable the party beat INEC’s deadline which is today.
