President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation today, (Thursday morning).
Gatekeepers News reports that Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday night.
“President Muhammadu Buhari will make a national broadcast on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 7 am.
“Television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast,” Femi said in the statement.
Although the Presidential Spokesperson did not reveal the issue Buhari will be talking about but it may be related to the ongoing crisis caused by scarcity of the local currency.
Gatekeepers News reports that violent protests were recorded on Wednesday in some parts of the country including Oyo, Kwara, Edo and Delta States.
