Goods worth millions of naira have been destroyed by a raging fire at the popular Monday Market in Maiduguri, Borno State, Northeast Nigeria.
Gatekeepers News reports that the early morning fire, according to eyewitnesses, started around between 2 and 3 am on Sunday and has spread to different parts of the market.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire could not be ascertained and no life was lost.
