Early Life
Angela Okorie who hails from Ivo LGA in Ebonyi State, the southeastern part of Nigeria was born in Cotonou, Benin Republic on 29 October 1975. She is third of five children.
Okorie had both her primary and secondary education in Cotonou before she came back to Nigeria for her tertiary education.
She studied theatre arts at the University of Lagos. She also attended Lagos State University where she studied Public Administration.
Career
Her first movie was Sincerity in 2009 produced and directed by Stanley Egbonini and Ifeanyi Ogbonna respectively. In Sincerity, she starred alongside other popular actors like Chigozie Atuanya, Nonso Diobi, Yemi Blaq, and Oge Okoye.
Her break into the limelight came after she starred in Holy Serpent.
Ever since she came into the limelight, she has as starred in several other movies alongside other popular actors like Chinyere Winifred, Kenneth Okonkwo, Walter Anga, Chioma Chukwuka, etc.
She won the City People Entertainment Awards for Best Supporting Actress in an English film in 2015.
Before she ventured into music, she has earlier stated her desire to record gospel music and intention to go into film production in the future.
Speaking on her musical aspirations, she explained that she has written numerous songs and would release her album soon, describing music as something that has always been a part of her.

The actress is a proud mother of one. Her son Chamberlain Kasiemobi Orizu was born on September 5, 2011.
