“Today is one of the best days of my life, I was able to have a direct conversation with my Governor. I’m so happy and that’s why I gave him my basket of mangoes for free to encourage him to continue with good works of developing Borno and the citizens.”

Zulai revealed that she and her six children have been putting up in a thatched house for the last 12 years after losing her husband.

“It’s not been easy for me,” she said, ” I will appreciate assistance from anywhere but Governor Zulum remains my hero; I’m so happy I saw him face to face today.”

Governor Zulum, while receiving the mangoes, handed over some cash to Zulai and gave money to others who had besieged his convoy.
