Again President Bolsonaro Rushed To Hospital With 'Intestinal Blockage'
Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro is suffering from a possible intestinal blockage and may need emergency surgery, Presidency disclosed on Wednesday.

Gatekeepers News report that the 66-year-old president has been transferred to a hospital in Sao Paulo after he endured 10 days of chronic hiccups.

The Vila Nova Star hospital in Sao Paulo, where the Brazilian leader is now admitted, said late on Wednesday that Bolsonaro would remain in hospital “initially under conservative management” following reports that he would need emergency surgery.

Bolsonaro’s son Flavio said that earlier in the day, his father was moved to an intensive care unit in Brasilia and intubated.

“He ended up being intubated to keep him from breathing in liquid coming from his stomach,” Flavio Bolsonaro said while speaking to radio station Jovem Pan.

Gatekeepers News reports that Bolsonaro’s health has been a concern for much of his presidency.

In 2018, he was stabbed in the intestines on the campaign trail and nearly died. The attack has required multiple follow-up operations.

Pro-Bolsonaro federal legislator, Bia Kicis via Twitter on Wednesday said Bolsonaro’s hospitalisation was “a consequence of the 2018 knifing”.
