VIDEO: Hold Me Responsible If Anything Happens To Seun Kuti

Seun Kuti, the Afrobeat singer, has confronted a man named Solomon Idowu, who allegedly threatened to kill him, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos state.

Gatekeepers News reports that in a viral video, Idowu who claimed to be American threatened to ‘make some calls’ during a heated argument with Seun Kuti at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.

“Dude, I am not from here, I am American. You just put your hands on me. You gonna find out. Yes, I am going home because this is not gonna end well for you. Do not make me make phone calls. I am going home,” he said.

The Afrobeat star was also seen hindering the man from presenting his passport for boarding the plane and insisted on settling the case in Nigeria.

“Dude, nobody is taking your passport. You have a case in this country. You are not going anywhere,” he said.

In a follow-up video, Idowu took responsibility for any harm to Seun in Chicago, emphasizing miscommunication and the alleged threat to Seun’s life.

“If anything happens to Seun in Chicago, I will be responsible. If it comes from me, which it will never be. Because of miscommunication and I threatened his life.” he said.
