Nasir el-Rufai, former Governor of Kaduna; and Muhammadu Sanusi II, the 14th Emir of Kano, have paid a condolence visit to families affected by the military air strike in the State on Friday.
Gatekeepers News reports that many residents of Tudun Biri in Igabi LGA of Kaduna were killed in air strikes said to be targeted at terrorists on December 2, 2023.
The Nigerian Army has accepted responsibility for the incident, stating that its troops were on a routine mission against terrorists when the “mistake” occurred.
El-Rufai also visited survivors of the incident currently receiving treatment at Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital.
