United States National Transportation Safety Board, NTSB, has provided pictures of the location where the helicopter conveying Access Holdings Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe crashed.
Gatekeepers News reports that Wigwe, his wife, Doreen; their son, Chizi Wigwe; and former Nigerian Exchange Group Chairman, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, crashed in an Airbus EC130 helicopter close to the California-Nevada border near Halloran Springs on February 9, 2024.
A board member with the NTSB, Michael Graham released the images after they had visited the site and outlined the activities conducted on the first full day of investigation at the accident site.
The images showed NTSB officials observing the wreckage at the site.
Graham, while emphasising the agency’s commitment to a meticulous examination of the scene, had said the team conducted aerial drone mapping and documented the wreckage.
According to him, various electronic devices and onboard equipment were recovered at the scene for further examination and analysis.
