Atletico Madrid have officially won the 2020/21 LaLiga Santander season.

Atletico claimed the championship after a 2-1 victory away at Real Valladolid.

Although Valladolid with the help of Oscar Plano scored the leading goal of the game at the 18th minute, Los Colchoneros had to come from behind as Angel Correa scored the equalising goal at the 57th minute.
However, Luis Suarez at the 67th minute, secured the winning goal, which ended the match 1-2 in favour of Atletico.
Suarez at the end of the game appreciated Los Colchoneros for trusting in him as his winning goal helped them edge their city rivals, Real Madrid to the La Liga title.
Gatekeepers News reports that this is Los Colchoneros LaLiga win for the first time in seven years.
