President Muhammadu Buhari says the death of the Chief of Army Staff death is a mortal to Nigeria’s belly.
Gatekeepers News reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has described the air crash that claimed the lives of the Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru, and other military officers as one mortal blow to our underbelly.
Buhari made this known in a statement after receiving a brief from the Defence Minister, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Lucky Irabor, and other security chiefs on the tragic plane crash which led to the death of the COAS on Friday.
Gatekeepers News, reports that Buhari portrayed all the deceased as heroes who paid the ultimate price for peace and security in the land.
According to him, “this crash is one mortal blow to our underbelly, at a time our Armed Forces are poised to end the security challenges facing the country.
“My condolences to the families of the deceased, the entire military, and all Nigerians. The deaths of these officers will not be in vain!”
