COVID-19 Cases Reach 166,061 In Nigeria

COVID-19 cases has reached 166,061 in Nigeria.

Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria has recorded 42 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, 24 May 2021, bringing the number of confirmed infections in the country to 166,061.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in its daily report.

Gatekeepers News reports the breakdown of the infections recorded below:

Lagos-14, Gombe-11, Ebonyi-5, Kano-5
FCT-4, Edo-1, Kaduna-1 and Rivers-1.

Since the outbreak on February 27, 2020, a total of 2,067 persons have lost their lives to the virus while 156,492 have recovered and have been discharged.
