The late rap icon DMX’s children have given a different report of the worth of his estate.
Gatekeepers News reports that the late rap icon, DMX’s sons and daughters have given a different figure on the worth of their father’s estate.
DMX’s two daughters, Sasha Simmons and Jada Oden stated that their father’s estate is worth less than $50,000.
His three son’s Xavier, Tacoma, and Sean Simmons, on the other hand, estimated that DMX’s estate is worth a little under $1 million.
This came to light after the two groups filed to become administrators to their father’s estate in Westchester County’s Surrogate Court.
However, reports stated that X’s prison time for tax evasion conviction, his addiction, and a $400K child support tab may have sunk his estate worth.
A source familiar with the rapper’s estate said his popularity and the impact of his catalogue will increase the value.
Gatekeepers News gathered that the lawyers for both parties have, however, declined to comment on the court filings.
