Chelsea have won their second UEFA Champions League.
Gatekeepers News reports that Chelsea FC have defeated Premier League Champions, Manchester United to win their second UEFA Champions League.
A beautiful pass from Mason Mount to Kai Havertz gave the Blues an edge in the first half.
Havertz’s strike which was the only goal of the final crowned the Blues the 2020/2021 Champions of the biggest league in Europe.
The Blues last won the European title in 2012 against Bayern Munich and have done it again in 2021.
Thomas Tuchel has claimed his first UEFA Champions League and has become the third German manager to win the European title in the last three seasons (Jurgen Klopp 2019, Hans-Dieter Flick 2020).
Gatekeepers News gathered that Tuchel shattered Pep Guardiola’s hope of winning the title for the third time.
He has also become the second manager to record three consecutive wins in all competitions against the City Manager.
Although the German Coach took over the job as the head coach when the Blues were drowning in several defeats, he was able to finish fourth in the Premier League.
Tuchel has made his employer and Club owner Roman Abramovich proud at Porto. Abramovic in the defense of his hire to fire policy earlier stated that he was more concerned about the output of the club.
