Gatekeepers News reports the shooting of the latest ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ in the U.K has been suspended after at least a member of the production crew tested positive for COVID-19.
The exact number of people that tested positive for the virus is, however, not clear, but the filming on the Tom Cruise sequel has been suspended for 14 days.
Gatekeepers New gathered that the production crew have been instructed to also self isolate.
“We have temporarily halted production on Mission: Impossible 7 until June 14th, due to positive coronavirus test results during routine testing. We are following all safety protocols and will continue to monitor the situation,” a statement from the production read.
The production of ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ movie became prolonged due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions announced in February 2020.
The film is scheduled for release by May 27, 2022.
